By accessing or using this Website, purchasing tickets, registering for an event, or interacting with any content or services provided through the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Website.
1. About Perreo 101
Perreo 101 is an educational and cultural experience dedicated to exploring the history, musicology, politics, and evolution of Reggaeton through lectures, audiovisual presentations, discussions, exhibitions, and related programming.
Event formats, speakers, venues, schedules, and programming are subject to change without notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use this Website or attend events where applicable.
Certain events may have additional age restrictions.
3. Event Registration & Ticket Purchases
Tickets are sold subject to availability.
A completed registration or purchase does not guarantee admission if:
- payment is declined;
- tickets were obtained fraudulently;
- venue capacity has been exceeded due to unforeseen circumstances; or
- the attendee violates event policies.
Attendees are responsible for reviewing all event details prior to arrival.
4. Refund Policy
Unless otherwise stated for a specific event:
- All ticket sales are final.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from the Company.
If an event is cancelled by the Company and not rescheduled, purchasers will receive a refund of the ticket purchase price, excluding any third-party processing fees that cannot legally be refunded.
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets will generally remain valid for the new date.
5. Event Changes
We reserve the right to modify:
- event dates;
- venues;
- schedules;
- speakers;
- performers;
- programming; and
- ticket offerings
at any time.
Such changes do not necessarily entitle attendees to refunds.
6. Photography & Media Release
Perreo 101 events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded.
By attending an event, you grant Elumina Media LLC permission to capture and use your likeness, voice, image, and appearance for promotional, editorial, documentary, educational, archival, and commercial purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation.
If you do not wish to appear in promotional materials, please notify event staff before the event begins. While reasonable efforts may be made, we cannot guarantee complete exclusion from crowd photography or video.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including but not limited to:
- Perreo 101®
- Reggaeton Con La Gata®
- logos
- branding
- presentations
- educational materials
- graphics
- photographs
- research
- audiovisual works
- publications
- archives
- videos
- written materials
are owned by Elumina Media LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, sold, uploaded, translated, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Attendance at an event does not grant any ownership or license rights to presentation materials or educational content.
8. Recording Policy
Unless expressly permitted by the Company:
- no professional photography;
- no commercial recording;
- no livestreaming;
- no reproduction of presentations;
- no redistribution of educational materials
is permitted.
Personal photographs for non-commercial use are generally permitted unless otherwise announced.
9. Code of Conduct
We are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment.
Attendees agree not to:
- harass speakers, staff, volunteers, or guests;
- engage in discriminatory behavior;
- disrupt presentations;
- damage venue property;
- engage in illegal activity.
Individuals violating these standards may be removed without refund.
10. Merchandise
Any merchandise sold through the Website is subject to availability.
Product colors, packaging, and designs may vary slightly from images displayed online.
